Photos: Major Car Accident as Volvo Truck Collides with VAZ 2106, the Latter Turns into Scrap Metal

Today, on March 27, a significant car accident occurred in the Lori region. Around 14:45, a collision took place on the 1st km section of the Spitak-Yerevan highway involving a Volvo truck driven by 54-year-old Radik Amirkhanyan from the Aragatsotn region and a VAZ 2106 vehicle.

According to photographer Gagik Shamshyan, as a result of the accident, three individuals, who were initially assisted by bystanders, were transported to the Spitak Medical Center. Police and the investigative division are working to determine the identity of the VAZ driver and the injured parties.

Shamshyan reports that following the collision, the VAZ 2106 was reduced to scrap metal.
