Gunshots in Yerevan: Automatic Weapon, Over 50 Bullets, and 8 Fired Shells Found at the Scene
Today, on March 26, gunshots rang out in Yerevan. Around 5:00 AM, the operational management center of the Republic of Armenia Police received a report that gunfire was being heard on 9th Street of Aygestan. According to Shamshyan.com from the scene, while the police were on their way, the reports of gunfire continued, and the police managed to neutralize a suspected individual in front of the police administrative building.
More than 50 bullets fired from various types of firearms and 8 fired cartridges were discovered from Aygestan Street to Nalbandyan Street, near the police administrative building. An automatic weapon was also found in front of the police administrative building.
The individual detained and neutralized is 31-year-old Erik Aghakhanian, a resident of Yerevan, who has been arrested by the decision of the investigator.
