Azerbaijani Forces Attempted to Capture the Heights; Our Forces Resisted, Says David Torosyan

David Torosyan, President of the 'For the Armenian Soldier' NGO, wrote on his Facebook page: "Friends, summarizing the available data, here is the picture as of 2 PM. Neither side has complete and full control over the height known as Karaghlukh; on one side are our troops, on the other, the enemy.

1-2 hours ago, Azerbaijani forces attempted to launch an assault and completely capture the heights, which the Defense Army did not allow, and our forces have maintained control.

There are some movements and sporadic fire in various parts of the border, but not to the extent that has been presented.

All data have been received from our own sources and are unofficial."

It should be noted that Artak Beglaryan, the State Minister of the Republic of Artsakh, previously reported that there had been no change in the situation and positions along the front line from the afternoon of March 25 until the morning of the 26th, and that Azerbaijani armed forces continue to remain in the village of Parukh and on one side of the adjacent Karaghlukh heights. Just a while ago, there was an unsuccessful attempt by Azerbaijani forces to attack our armed unit in that area.

The armed forces of Artsakh are taking appropriate precautionary and deterrent measures to neutralize possible threats.
