VIDEO: Baku Seeks to Complete Ethnic Cleansing and Make Life Impossible for the Population: Prime Minister

Azerbaijan has been beating the drums for 1.5 years about its magnificent victory in the 44-day war, but everything shows that the fact that today, at this moment, around 117,000 Armenians live in Artsakh, is considered by Azerbaijan to be its greatest defeat. It is their goal to do everything necessary to complete the policy of ethnic cleansing in Artsakh, stated Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan at today’s government meeting.

“In this context, the statement released by the Azerbaijan Ministry of Foreign Affairs is quite symbolic, which states that the issue of gas supply to Artsakh is an internal affair of Azerbaijan. If we translate this statement from diplomatic language, it would mean, ‘International community, don’t look this way, and let us complete the removal of Armenians from Artsakh under the guise of ‘counter-terrorism operations’ without attracting the international community’s attention,’” said Pashinyan. “Such a thing cannot happen, and the Armenian diplomatic service, other officials, political forces, media, NGOs, and individuals must present in detail and widely to the international community what has transpired in Artsakh over the past 15 days.”

He noted that many are recording all of this, recalling and criticizing their adopted policy of opening an era of peaceful development. “But I want to unequivocally point out that our adopted policy has no alternative, on the contrary, through its actions and various provocations, Azerbaijan is trying to divert us from the peace agenda in order to implement its policy of instigating new escalations and wars in the region. However, we must not succumb to such provocations. I have said that to implement the peace agenda, we need strong nerves, and we must not deviate in any way from our declared strategy,” emphasized Pashinyan.
