VIDEO: What Actions is the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Taking to Solve the Gas Problem in Artsakh? A Question for the Minister

Armenia is making every effort, utilizing all possible diplomatic avenues to restore gas supply in Artsakh, stated the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan, in the National Assembly.

“First and foremost, we are in regular contact with our Russian counterparts, because the incident in this case is not clearly categorized; it is not an accident per se, but the damaged or blocked area is under the responsibility of the peacekeepers, and our primary communication is with our Russian partners,” he said.

The Foreign Minister noted that Armenia is also in contact regarding this issue with the civilized world. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia has sent a note to international partners, and responses are already being received.

Mirzoyan mentioned that during the previous interruption of gas supply, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan also spoke with the U.S. Secretary of State, the President of Russia, and the President of France.

“We are already seeing responses; unfortunately, the issue is still not resolved on the ground,” added the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia.
