Video: Tsarukyan Gives One Month Time

Leader of the Prosperous Armenia Party and businessman Gagik Tsarukyan has given one month to the 21 authors who passed the first round of the competition for the monumental statue-complex of Jesus Christ to work on the statue and reflect their ideas in their artworks.

“This is a historically powerful project, a national endeavor that must be the best. The important thing is that we have brilliant people; this will be historical and have a story for centuries. Therefore, let’s not rush. Our wish is that the most beautiful and the most powerful is chosen. Since we are the world’s first Christian nation that accepted Christianity at a state level, this should also be our first. By uniting as a nation, we will do the best. We are listening to everyone, we will not stand before anything, this is a work given by God, and we will carry it out,” Tsarukyan stated during a press conference.
