Russian National Guards Capture Ukrainian Security Service Officers, Seize Important Documents
During the liberation of Izium city in Kharkiv region, Russian National Guards have captured several leaders of nationalist formations and officers of the Ukrainian Security Service.
This was reported by TASS agency, citing the agency's press service. According to the source, soldiers, members of a special forces unit, as well as a contingent from the Russian National Guard crossed a river on the outskirts of Izium at night.
“The following day, they repelled continuous assaults by the Ukrainian armed forces and nationalists, thus ensuring the deployment of a bridge by the Russian Ministry of Defense's military units. Furthermore, they were able to capture several leaders of nationalist formations and officers of the Ukrainian Security Service, seizing important documents,” the agency stated.
