Roof of Barn Collapses in Dilijan Due to Heavy Snow

In the Tavush region, the roof of a barn has collapsed due to heavy snowfall, while livestock were inside, reports the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The emergency services received the call today at 10:13 AM, reporting a barn collapse on Shamakhyan Street in the city of Dilijan.

Rescue teams arriving at the scene found that approximately 40 square meters of the barn roof on Ivanovo Street had collapsed under the weight of the heavy snow.

Rescuers managed to evacuate 6 large animals from the barn.
