Flag of Russian Embassy Torn Down in Estonia

Unknown individuals have torn down the flag of the Russian embassy building in the city of Tartu, Estonia. This was reported by the Russian diplomatic mission, according to TASS.

“On March 19, an act of vandalism occurred when the flag of Russia was torn down from the embassy building in Tartu. We assume that the perpetrators will be punished, and the state flag of the Russian Federation will be returned to its place,” said the statement.

The Russian diplomatic mission noted that “this desecration of the state symbol of the Russian Federation was a result of the unrestrained anti-Russian campaign unleashed in the West and, unfortunately, flared up in Estonia, as well as the disdainful attitude of Estonians.”
