Russian Astronauts Arrive at ISS in Ukrainian Flag-Themed Suits
On March 18, the Russian Soyuz MS-21 spacecraft successfully delivered three Russian astronauts to the International Space Station (ISS) from Baikonur. After arriving at the ISS, Oleg Artemyev, Denis Matveev, and Sergey Korsakov released a video.
In the spacecraft, they wore blue suits, but after docking with the ISS, they changed into yellow and blue suits, symbolizing the colors of the Ukrainian flag. Artemyev explained that the astronauts chose the color of their suits at their discretion. “In fact, a lot of yellow fabric had accumulated, and we had to use it. That is why we chose yellow,” the astronaut said.
