Poland's Prime Minister Proposes Complete Trade Halt with Russia to EU

Poland's Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki has proposed to the European Union to completely halt trade with Russia.

“I expect that European leaders will sober up and be able to adopt a new package of sanctions at the next European Council meeting. Poland is proposing to urgently add trade blockade to that package of sanctions... blocking the entry of Russian ships with the Russian flag into ports, as well as a ban on land trade,” Morawiecki told reporters.

According to the Prime Minister of Poland, this complete disconnection of Russia from trade will once again force it to consider whether it is better to end this horrific war: “And here I am with the protesters,” he added.
