Driver in Yerevan Insults Police and Attempts to Flee but is Detained

In Yerevan, police have detained a driver exhibiting aggressive behavior. This information was reported by the press service of the Armenian police.

According to the statement, on March 18 at 20:00, patrol officers noticed a "VAZ-2121" vehicle speeding in the opposite direction on Bagratunyats Avenue.

When the police tried to stop the vehicle, the driver did not comply with their commands. Near the "Gortsaranayin" metro station, he exited the car and attempted to escape, but the officers apprehended him.

The 32-year-old driver, while grossly violating public order, hurled sexual slurs at the police officers for ten minutes, pushed them, and made erratic movements.

The driver has been taken to the Shengavit police station. The circumstances are being clarified, and materials are being prepared.
