Body of a Man Discovered Near the Entrance of the Avan Mental Health Center

A tragic incident occurred in Yerevan on March 18. Around 12:20 PM, the 5th substation of Yerevan’s 1-03 emergency medical service received a call from the police department of Avan, reporting that ambulance crew number 51 had been dispatched to the Avan Mental Health Center located on the first alley of Acharyan Street, where a man’s body was discovered near the entrance.

The police and investigators have determined that the deceased was a 75-year-old resident of Yerevan, identified as Sergeik K.

According to the preliminary conclusion by forensic expert Saghatelyan, no signs of violence were found on the body during the external examination.

Materials are being prepared in connection with the incident at the investigative department of the Avan and Nor Nork administrative regions, and a forensic examination of the body has been appointed by the investigator.
