About Lars: Approximately 400 Trucks Accumulated on the Russian Side
According to information received from the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs Emergency Management Department and the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations North Ossetia Crisis Management Center, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is closed. There are approximately 400 cargo trucks on the Russian side.
Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.
