Russian Shelling Hits Shelter in Sieverodonetsk with Mothers and Children

In the city of Sieverodonetsk, located in the Luhansk region, Russian forces have shelled a shelter where mothers and their children were staying. This was reported on Facebook by the head of the Regional State Administration, Serhiy Haidai, as conveyed by rus.lb.ua.

Currently, the residents and staff of the facility are safe. "Many mothers with children were hiding in this establishment from enemy shelling, but Russia reached them there as well. There are no safe places left in the Luhansk region," Haidai wrote.

Last night, Serhiy Haidai reported that Russian invaders have captured about 70% of the region, and Russian forces, along with the so-called LPR militia, are terrorizing the local population. Ukraine currently controls 30% of the area, which is under constant Russian shelling.
