Artsakh's NSS on Reports of High-Ranking Officials' Families Leaving Artsakh

The National Security Service of Artsakh reports: "As previously mentioned, starting from March 12 of this year, the NSC has conducted investigations to clarify the accuracy of information circulating regarding the recent tensions along the Artsakh-Azerbaijan contact line. These reports suggested that some high-ranking officials had moved their families from Artsakh to the Republic of Armenia for security reasons.

Studies conducted have shown that since the beginning of March this year, no high-ranking official has moved their family to the Republic of Armenia for temporary or long-term residence due to security concerns. Only a few exceptional cases were identified where family members of high-ranking officials went to Armenia for education, medical treatment, or work-related trips, but these instances had no relation to the tensions surrounding Artsakh.

Notably, the NSS had previously alerted the public about commencing an investigation based on the alleged incidents of officials relocating their families from Artsakh. However, even after this announcement, no physical or legal entities have reported similar information to the service.

Given the above, the NSS once again urges and implores everyone to refrain from any actions that could lead to internal division, discord among the public, or the formation of hostility or hatred towards one another."
