VIDEO: Issues of Fraud and Apartment Rentals

Radio Aurora is discussing the issues of apartment rentals and fraud today. Lawyer Gor Gevorgyan joined our live broadcast and provided useful information for those renting apartments.

The lawyer also added that any contract related to real estate requires notary certification, including rental agreements.

According to him, having a contract protects the tenant from various problems, but landlords do not always agree to sign a rental contract as they are forced to pay taxes to the state.

The lawyer pointed out that, alongside the demand for rental apartments, the number of fraudsters has also increased: 'They rent out someone else's house, take the money for the first and last months, and then disappear.'
