Azerbaijanis Again Play Mugham in Kharamort
In the positions near the village of Kharamort in the Askeran region of Artsakh, Azerbaijani soldiers have once again played mugham music and called for the local Armenian population to leave the area. This was stated to 24News by Metakse Hakobjan, a member of the Artsakh Republic National Assembly representing the 'Justice' faction.
‘Azerbaijanis play this music constantly, 4-5 times a day. There is some encouraging news; the number of men from Kharamort has increased, including those who had not lived in the village for many years,’ said the deputy. ‘The community head mentioned that there was one person who hadn’t lived there for 10 years, but now he has come back and stands with the villagers. Our soldiers are also from there, and Russian peacekeepers are present as well, so we are relatively calm in that regard,’ she concluded.
Farmers in Artsakh are unable to carry out agricultural work on lands adjacent to Azerbaijani combat positions as they frequently face provocations, including shots fired in their direction and loudspeaker calls urging them to leave the settlements.
