Tragic Car Accident in Aragatsotn Province: One Dead, Injured

On March 14, a tragic car accident occurred in Aragatsotn Province. At approximately 19:10, vehicles of the Volkswagen Vento and Opel Zafira models collided on the 78 km section of the Yerevan-Gyumri highway.

According to information from the scene reported by shamshyan.com, two individuals with bodily injuries were transported to the Talin Medical Center. One of the injured was extricated from the vehicle by rescuers using special equipment. Firefighters and rescuers deactivated the vehicles, closed the gas cylinders, and secured the area.

The hospital reported to the Talin Division of Police that one of the injured, having not regained consciousness, has died.

Under the direction of the investigator, the vehicles have been moved to a designated storage area of the Talin Police Division. The police and investigative department are working to identify the drivers, the deceased, and the injured.
