Russian Army Major General Destroyed, Ukrainian Media Reports

According to Ukrainian Telegram channels, the "Azov" unit has destroyed a Russian Army Major General.

Recall that on the morning of February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the start of a special military operation aimed at the demilitarization of Ukraine. In his televised address, he stated that the circumstances "require decisive and immediate actions from us; the Donbas people's republics have appealed to Russia for help." According to the Russian leader, all responsibility for the bloodshed will rest on the conscience of the regime in power in Ukraine. He urged Ukrainian servicemen not to follow the criminal orders of the Ukrainian authorities, to lay down their arms, and go home.

In response, the West imposed new anti-Russian sanctions. Specifically, several major banks, including Sberbank and VTB, were included in these sanctions. The European Union, the United States, Canada, and several other countries have closed their skies to Russian aircraft. The options for raising foreign capital have become difficult for several state-owned companies. Sanctions have also been imposed on the supply of high-tech goods to Russia.
