Russia Blocks VPN Services
In Russia, nearly 20 popular VPN services have been blocked, and Roskomnadzor intends to continue this effort, stated Alexander Khinshtein, chairman of the State Duma's information policy committee, according to Interfax.
"As of today, around two dozen well-known VPN services have already been blocked, and the blocking of VPNs will continue," Khinshtein said.
He admitted that those who continue to use Instagram in Russia are doing so through a VPN, which allows access to blocked websites.
"Roskomnadzor is continuing its work, and VPNs are being blocked every day. It's not an easy task, but it is being done," Khinshtein added.
