Certain Sections Impassable for All Types of Vehicles

The Road Department Foundation informs that as of March 15, at 17:00, the Vardenyats Pass and the Ttujur-Navur highway are closed to all types of vehicles.

Due to snow and low visibility, the bends of Stepanavan, the Saravan Pass, and the sections of Gndevaz-Jermuk and Gorayk-Zanger are impassable for vehicles with trailers.

Furthermore, the Jraberd-Fantan and Aghveran roads are difficult to traverse for all types of vehicles due to snowfall.

Snow is observed on the highways of Ani, Artik (Artik-Alagyaz section), Ashotzk, and Aragats regions.

Snow is also falling in the regions of Abovyan, Sevan, Dilijan, Ijevan, Gavar, Martuni, Stepanavan, Tashir, Chambaraki, Ararat, Yeghqnadzor, Vayk, Goris, Kapan, Meghri, Ashtarak, and Aparan.

Road construction crews are engaged in snow removal and spreading salt-sand on the highways. Other inter-state and republican significance highways are open.
