60-Year-Old Man Stabs 18-Year-Old Youth

On March 14, a report was received by the police from a hospital stating that an 18-year-old youth had sought medical assistance for a stab wound to the chest. The police confirm that an operational group from the Malatia division of the police immediately responded to the hospital.

According to the doctor's report, the young man is unable to provide an explanation regarding the incident.

Thanks to coordinated operational-search measures conducted by detectives from the Police Department of Yerevan and the Malatia division, it was established that around 3:00 PM, during a dispute on Shahumyan Street, the youth was stabbed by a 60-year-old resident of the same street, who has since been identified and taken into custody. The suspect presented the knife used in the crime to the police.

The 60-year-old man has been handed over to the investigative body, and an investigation is underway.
