Emergency Situation: Several Car Accidents Due to Ice on Roads; Injuries Reported

For several hours now, an emergency situation has unfolded in the Aragatsotn region. According to reports from the scene by shamshyan.com, the crisis has arisen due to the negligence of the management of "Embouat" LLC, who failed to take any action to clear the black ice caused by the snow accumulation along the road leading from the Ashtarak-Kecharis bridge to the Tarev Park and the Byurakan-Amberd highway.

Several car accidents have occurred in these areas. A Mercedes ML collided with metal barriers on the bridge due to the ice. In Byurakan, an Opel and a VAZ 2107 also crashed because of the icy road. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported from these accidents; however, on the 41st kilometer of the Margara-Vanadzor highway, a Mitsubishi veered off the road, hit the rocks, and ended up in a ravine due to the black ice.

As a result of this incident, three individuals were provided with initial medical assistance by doctors from the Ashtarak medical center who arrived on the scene and were subsequently transported to the Ashtarak hospital.
