David Galstyan, known as 'Patron Davo', released on bail
David Galstyan, who is better known by the nickname 'Patron Davo', has been released on bail of 50 million drams. This information was confirmed to Tert.am by Galstyan's lawyer Armen Harutyunyan.
Former Minister of Defense Davit Tonoyan, former Deputy Chief of Staff Stepan Galstyan, and Avetik Ishkhanian will continue to remain in custody, as the court rejected the defense's motion.
It is recalled that according to a statement from the National Security Service (NSS), the criminal case pertains to alleged abuses and embezzlements of significant amounts in the supply of military hardware for the needs of the Armed Forces, particularly the purchase of defective missiles by the Ministry of Defense.
