Criminal Case Opened Following Discovery of Syringe at Avan Deputy Mayor's Office

A criminal case has been initiated following the discovery of a syringe (pipette) at the office of Nerses Poghosyan, the deputy head of the Avan administrative district. This information has been reported by the Investigative Committee of Armenia.

Nerses Poghosyan currently does not have a status in this case. It is noteworthy that he was detained by the Police on suspicion of drug possession. The criminal case has been opened under Article 266, Part 1 of the Criminal Code (Illegal circulation of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, and their precursors for the purpose of selling or illegally selling them).
