Sanctions Imposed on Dmitry Peskov's Wife and Two Children
The U.S. authorities have imposed sanctions on the wife and two children of Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the President of Russia. This has been reported in a statement released by the U.S. Department of the Treasury on Friday, according to TASS.
As mentioned by the American agency, Peskov has been under U.S. sanctions since early March. 'Sanctions are now applied to Tatiana Navka, an Olympic champion in figure skating, Nikolai Peskov, and Lisa Peskov, due to the fact that they are respectively Peskov's wife and adult children, who are currently under sanctions,' the statement reads.
Being included in the list of sanctioned individuals means that their assets in the U.S. are frozen, and U.S. citizens and organizations are prohibited from conducting business with them.
