New Steps to Hold Putin Accountable

US President Joe Biden held a phone conversation today with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, CNN reports. “As always, I told him that the United States stands by the people of Ukraine as they bravely fight to defend their country,” Biden said. “Later, along with NATO and other G7 allies, as well as the EU, we are preparing to announce several new steps to hold Putin accountable for the aggression against Ukraine,” Biden added. Zelensky, in turn, informed via Twitter that the conversation was substantive.
