Turkey Sends Mercenary Terrorists to Ukraine to Fight Alongside Ukrainian Army

Turkey has dispatched mercenary terrorists from Syria to fight in Ukraine, who remained in Nagorno-Karabakh after the 2020 war (in areas now under Azerbaijani control), reported RIA Novosti, citing its sources in the Syrian opposition.

“In 2020, Turkey sent over 2,000 fighters from Syria to Nagorno-Karabakh to participate in military operations against the Armenian side, most of whom remained there after the war (in areas now under Azerbaijani control). Some of these fighters from Syria and elsewhere have now been sent to Ukraine from Karabakh to participate in military operations alongside the Ukrainian army,” the source told RIA Novosti.

According to the source, the mercenaries arriving in Ukraine from Nagorno-Karabakh have joined the legion of foreign fighters that Ukrainian authorities established after the beginning of military operations.

In 2020, Turkey sent more than 2,500 mercenary terrorists to Nagorno-Karabakh, according to various sources, to fight against the Armenian side. Some of them returned to Syria after the war, however, more than 1,000 mercenaries remained in Nagorno-Karabakh (in areas now under Azerbaijani control).
