Azerbaijan's Ministry of Defense Statement Has No Relation to Reality: Artsakh Defense Army

On March 9, the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan issued a statement claiming that the Defense Army units of Artsakh had fired from small arms towards Azerbaijani combat positions, to which they allegedly responded with fire.

This statement has no connection to reality. The Artsakh Defense Army not only did not open fire towards Azerbaijani positions but also, as previously noted, on March 7 and 8, Azerbaijani military units fired from mortars in the direction of the village of Khamarort, respectively, 2 and 3 times.
