Why Artsakh Remains Without Gas: New Details

Reliable sources from Artsakh have informed hraparak.am that around 1:00 AM, the gas pipeline supplying gas to Stepanakert from Yeraskh was damaged in the Lisagor-Shushi section. Since the Armenian side has not been able to approach these areas until now, it is believed that the gas pipeline was likely damaged by Azerbaijani gunfire.

The media outlet also notes there is a hypothesis that this section may have been mined during the war. In any case, time is needed to understand the causes of the damage, which will only be clear after technical work is completed.

Currently, organized efforts are underway for specialists to reach those areas and restore the gas supply to Artsakh. As for when gas will return to Artsakh, they mentioned that until the technical issues are understood, they cannot provide a timeline.
