Ministry of Defense Issues Statement

The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan continues to spread misinformation regarding the alleged firing by the Armed Forces of Armenia towards the combat positions of Azerbaijani units along various sections of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.

In particular, on March 8, Azerbaijan's defense department released a statement claiming that on the same day, in the morning, the Armed Forces of Armenia opened fire towards Azerbaijani combat positions located in the western part of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border. This information is also untrue.

Following the provocations carried out by the Azerbaijani side on March 7 in the same direction, the situation along the Armenian-Azerbaijani border is relatively stable and is fully under the control of the Armed Forces of Armenia.
