Ukrainian Authorities Deem Russia's Proposed Humanitarian Corridor Opening Unacceptable
Ukrainian authorities have deemed the humanitarian corridor opening proposed by Russia unacceptable. “Our people will not go from Ivankiv, Dymer, and Vyshhorod [in the Kyiv region], then fly to Russia from Belarus,” said Ukraine's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories, Iryna Vereshchuk.
It is noteworthy that at the request of French President Emmanuel Macron to Russian President Vladimir Putin, the Russian Armed Forces declared a ceasefire and opened humanitarian corridors starting at 10:00 AM. This allows civilians to leave Kyiv, Mariupol, Kharkiv, and Sumy.
