Hasanov Instructs Immediate Response to 'Armenian Provocations'
Azerbaijani Defense Minister Zakir Hasanov has received information regarding the situation along the Armenian-Azerbaijani border and in Artsakh. Azerbaijani media reports that during a consultation, instructions were given to respond promptly to potential provocations from the Armenian side.
It is noteworthy that on March 7 at around 12:40, units of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces opened targeted fire towards the Armenian combat positions located in the western part of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, resulting in gunshot wounds to two servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia. One of them, contractual serviceman Sergeant Hrach Arami Manasyan from military unit N, died en route to the hospital.
The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia shares the heavy sorrow of this loss and extends its condolences to the family, relatives, and comrades of the fallen serviceman. The life of the other injured serviceman is not in danger.
