During the conversations, the main topic of discussion was the ongoing military operations in Ukraine. Specifically, Macron addressed the actions taking place around the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant and informed his interlocutors about a phone call he had with Rafael Grossi, the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), regarding this issue. The participants welcomed the President's proposal to take concrete steps towards implementing the IAEA's recommendations to ensure the safety of Ukraine's nuclear facilities.
