7 Injured in Accident in Aragatsotn Province

Today, on March 5, an accident occurred in Aragatsotn Province. At around 10:50, vehicles of the Nissan and Gazelle model, serving the Vanadzor-Ejmiatsin route, collided in the administrative area of Melik village along the Aragats-Aparan highway.

According to photographer Gagik Shamshyan, as a result of the accident, 7 individuals with bodily injuries were transported to the 'Aparan' medical center.

Citizens and rescuers from the Aragats firefighting and rescue squad of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were the first to respond to the injured. Rescuers extracted two of the injured from the Gazelle.

The police are investigating the identities of the drivers and the injured, while the road remained passable.
