My Wife Has Health Issues: Former Syunik Governor on His Dismissal and New Offer

Is a state position fundamental? Everything is temporary, including state positions. This was stated by the former governor of Syunik, Melikset Poghosyan, while addressing the issue of his dismissal.  "I left according to my application, I wrote the application, and I left. I have a problem to take care of regarding my wife's health," Poghosyan said.

The former governor of Syunik has also received an offer to take up the position of advisor to Minister of Defense Suren Papikyan, but he has not yet made a decision regarding the acceptance of the offer.

It should be noted that Melikset Poghosyan was appointed as the governor of Syunik on December 8, 2020, serving until March 3.

Yesterday, Robert Ghukasyan was appointed as the new governor of Syunik, having previously served as an advisor to the Prime Minister.
