VIDEO: Romanian Air Force MiG-21 Lancer Crashes

The Romanian Air Force's MiG-21 Lancer has crashed in Constanța County. The Romanian Ministry of Defense has confirmed the occurrence of the aviation accident. The fighter jet disappeared from radar 13 minutes after taking off from Mihail Kogălniceanu Air Base. Its mission was to patrol the Dobrogea region over the Black Sea.

To search for it, an IAR 303 Puma helicopter was dispatched, but it also lost radio contact with the control tower and disappeared from radar. The pilot reported adverse weather conditions and instructed to return to base. There were 5 people on board the helicopter, according to Romanian media reports.
