Russian President Vladimir Putin stated today that Ukrainian nationalists and foreign mercenaries are hiding behind peaceful civilians, turning them into human shields.

In addition, he highlighted that “Russians and Ukrainians are one people,” and that he will never renounce this belief.

Speaking about the special operation underway in Ukraine, he noted that it is proceeding according to plan and strictly adhering to the timeline. “All tasks set during the special operation in Ukraine are being successfully resolved,” he asserted.
