Lavrov Compares the US to Napoleon and Hitler

Today, the United States has subjected Europe as Napoleon and Hitler attempted to do in their times. This statement was made by Lavrov during an interview with Russian and foreign media on Thursday, according to TASS.

“At that time, both Napoleon and Hitler set out to subordinate Europe; now it is the Americans who are doing that,” said the Foreign Minister.

Lavrov noted that NATO is persistently striving to maintain its supremacy in any area. According to him, the West wants to prove that NATO dictates order in Europe. The statements about NATO's defensive nature are “talks in favor of the poor,” said the Russian Foreign Minister.
