2870 Killed and About 3700 Wounded: Data on Ukrainian and Russian Casualties

The Russian Ministry of Defense has for the first time presented data on the casualties of Russian military forces in Ukraine. According to this information, 498 Russian soldiers have been killed.

The Russian defense ministry also reported on the number of casualties among "Ukrainian nationalists and military personnel," which, according to the Russian military agency, exceeds 2870 killed and nearly 3700 wounded.

"According to confirmed data, the number of captured servicemen by the Ukrainian law enforcement agencies stands at 572," the report states.
