Major Car Accident in Gegharkunik Region: Police Officer's Nissan Crashes into Trees and Overturns

On March 1, a major car accident occurred in the Gegharkunik region. Around 03:20, 32-year-old Ashot M., a resident of the Gegharkunik region, was driving his Nissan Maxima on the 55.5 km section of the Yerevan-Ijevan highway when he veered off the roadway, crashed into trees, and overturned.

According to Shamshyan.com, the driver was taken to the 'Sevan' Medical Center with injuries. Preparations are underway regarding the incident. As reported by G. Shamshyan, driver Ashot M. serves in the N military unit of the Armenian police forces.
