Russian combat aviation dominates Ukraine's entire airspace, reported Major General Igor Konashenkov, an official representative of the Russian Ministry of Defense, as conveyed by RIA Novosti.
“Russian aviation is dominating the entire airspace of Ukraine,” he told reporters.
According to him, over the past day, the Russian Aerospace Forces destroyed a “Buk M-1” combat vehicle, S-300 launchers, and targeting stations for the “Buk M-1,” three radio-technical positions equipped with P-14 systems, four combat aircraft on the ground, and one in the air.
Russian President Vladimir Putin signed the relevant decrees on February 21 in response to the requests of the Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics to recognize their sovereignty and announced the start of a special military operation on February 24 aimed at demilitarizing and denazifying Ukraine.
The Ministry of Defense emphasized that no strikes are being conducted on civilian objects.
