Britain Aims to Remove Russia from Interpol
The United Kingdom, together with its Western allies, is seeking to remove Russia from Interpol. This was announced today by the country's Home Secretary, Priti Patel, while speaking in the House of Commons.
“The government of Ukraine has today called for the Russian government's membership in Interpol to be suspended. We will lead international efforts to achieve this,” the minister stated.
It is noteworthy that Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a special military operation in Ukraine on February 24 in response to a request for assistance from the leaders of the Donbass republics.
