Who Controls the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant: Russian Defense Ministry Video

The Russian Ministry of Defense has released footage of joint operations with the National Guard of Ukraine to ensure the security of the energy blocks at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant.

During the special operation, the Russian armed forces took control of the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant. The Russian Ministry of Defense stated that units of the Russian airborne troops are working together with Ukrainian National Guard personnel to secure the safety of the plant.

It has been noted that an agreement has been reached with members of a separate battalion of the National Guard of Ukraine to jointly ensure the security of the energy blocks, isolation facilities, and the storage of used nuclear fuel.

The personnel of the nuclear power plant continue to monitor the radioactive situation and operate the facility in a normal mode.
