Putin Holds Security Council Meeting

Russian President Vladimir Putin has convened a meeting with members of the Security Council, as reported by RIA Novosti. During the operational consultation with Security Council members, Putin is discussing the progress of special operations in Ukraine.

Recall that in the early morning of February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that he had decided to launch a special military operation in Ukraine, following appeals for assistance from the LPR and DPR. In a televised address to the Russian people, he stated that the circumstances required decisive and immediate action.
