VIDEO: Russian Helicopters Near Kyiv

Russian helicopters are reportedly shelling the area around Hostomel, which houses the Antonov Airport, according to Ukrainska Pravda, citing eyewitnesses, the State Emergency Service, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Another source mentions that Russian helicopters are targeting the base of Ukraine's National Guard in Novi Petrivtsi. Fires caused by uncrewed aerial missiles have been observed by local residents.

Rescuers report that there are attempts to capture the Antonov Hostomel International Airport. Meanwhile, the advisor to the Minister of Internal Affairs, Anton Gerashchenko, states that “Ukrainian air defense has downed three Russian helicopters near Hostomel Airport.”
