‘The information disseminated by foreign media, claiming that a Russian aircraft was shot down in the territory of Ukraine, does not correspond to reality,’ stated the Russian Defense Ministry in a press release.

Earlier, Reuters, citing Ukrainian military officials, reported that Ukrainian air defense forces had shot down a Russian aircraft in eastern Ukraine.
