Biden: The Strictest Sanctions Will Be Imposed on Russia

U.S. President Joe Biden has vowed to impose the strictest sanctions and economic restrictions against Russia.

The American leader stated on his Twitter page that during an online meeting held on Thursday with the other leaders of the G7 countries, they agreed on further actions regarding the imposition of sanctions against Russia in connection with the events in Ukraine.

Joe Biden referred to Russia's military operation in Ukraine as an "unjustifiable attack." He promised that the strictest sanctions and economic restrictions would be applied against Russia. "We support the brave people of Ukraine," added the U.S. president.
