Ukraine Has No Plans to Acquire Nuclear Weapons: Kuleba
The head of Ukraine's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dmytro Kuleba, has stated that the country has no plans to acquire nuclear weapons again.
"In 1994, we denuclearized the third largest nuclear arsenal in the world. We do not have plans to acquire nuclear weapons again. Today, we expect the world to fulfill its reciprocal obligations and ensure our security through actions that are commensurate with the scale and seriousness of the historical threat we face," he said during a session of the United Nations General Assembly.
